DECK SUPPORT POST REPLACEMENT

Replacing damaged deck support posts with new concrete footings and restoring the finished deck flooring.

About this project

This project involved repairing two damaged support posts beneath an existing deck. The deck flooring was carefully removed in the affected areas to access the existing supports and foundation. What We Did: Deck Support: Temporarily supported and stabilized the deck using jacks before removing the damaged support posts. Post Removal: Removed the existing posts and prepared the areas for new structural supports. New Footings: Excavated and installed larger, deeper concrete footings to provide a stronger and more stable foundation for the replacement posts. New Support Posts: Installed new deck support posts securely on the new concrete foundations. Floor Restoration: Reinstalled the removed deck flooring and restored the affected areas after the structural work was completed. Final Result: Strengthened the deck's support system and restored the finished surface, providing a more stable and reliable structure.
